About the Company: Anns Home Care is a family-run home care agency with 25 years of experience in delivering and managing home care services. Our care assistants are at the heart of what we do, providing front-line care to those in need in the community, helping elderly and vulnerable people maintain their independence.

We are recruiting a Full-time, as and when Team Leader to join our busy Home Care Team in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the provision of high-quality care to clients in their own homes, monitoring care quality, and leading a team. Flexibility to work unsociable hours is required.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare
• Educated to NVQ level 2 or higher
• Access to a car and full driving license
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Empathy and understanding of clients' and families' needs
• Leadership, support, and supervision capabilities

Key Tasks and Duties:

• Maintain high standards of care, professionalism, and presentation through personal example
• Supervise and participate in care delivery to meet clients' physical, social, intellectual, and emotional needs, respecting dignity, choice, and independence
• Promote best practice and accountability via spot checks and staff supervisions
• Monitor care quality and update client care plans regularly
• Ensure confidentiality and uphold professional standards
• Conduct risk assessments in clients' homes
• Assist in implementing new care packages and onboarding new care workers
• Provide reports on complaints, accidents, and incidents
• Support rota management and participate in quality control activities
• Undertake shift cover activities as required
