Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd in Bromsgrove is recruiting a Team Leader to support up to five young people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. The role involves delivering person-centred care, building professional relationships, and following PBS plans to manage behaviours and challenges.

You will supervise care staff, manage records, and help individuals develop independence and life skills within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in a Supported Living or Residential Care Environment.
• At least 1 year in a Senior or Team Leader position within care.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred practice.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support in line with individual plans.

Team Leader

Location: Bromsgrove Worcester
Rate: £13.79 per hour

Permanent | Full-time | 37.5 hours per week (rota-based)

About the Service – King George Close

King George Close is a residential care home located in a quiet residential street. The service supports up to five young people with a range of mental health diagnoses, learning disabilities, and/or autistic spectrum conditions.

Our focus is on supporting individuals to develop independence and progress on their personal journey.

The Role

As a Team Leader, you will:
