Team Leader

Salary: £13.91 per hour (£28,932.80 per annum)


Working Hours: 40 Hours per week


Service: Endurance Care Broadstairs


We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our team at Endurance Care Kent, based in Broadstairs.


We operate a range of services throughout Broadstairs, including a 6-bed Residential unit and six supported living flats with 2 to 4 beds, supporting adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and complex needs.


"My name is Andrew, and I live in a supported living flat. I enjoy making air fix models and visiting historical and heritage sites. I sometimes need support with budgeting, medication, cooking, cleaning, and talking through worries. I also enjoy company and going for coffee."

The Team Leader Role

As a Team Leader, you will promote and ensure the implementation of person-centered support, maintaining individuals' potential and independence. You will be the front-line manager, overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.


Responsibilities
  • Staff management and development.
  • Leading staff to promote clients’ wellbeing, safety, and quality of life.
  • Monitoring and supporting activities aligned with client goals and outcomes.
  • Coordinating communication with external agencies.
  • Adhering to company values, policies, legislation, and standards.
  • Achieving individual objectives.
  • Ensuring quality compliance and participating in on-call duties.
  • Demonstrating respect, kindness, friendliness, and honesty in all interactions.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • At least 6 months experience in a Team Leader or Senior role.
  • Driving license preferred for service travel.
