Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Senior Support Worker/Team Leader to join our Supported Living Team in Boston PE21.

About the role

Our Supported Living Service in Boston is home to young female adults with Learning Disabilities. They enjoy various activities, social events, outings, and have their own interests. We seek caring and considerate individuals to support these young adults in enjoying each day fully. A female Team Leader is required due to the service users' needs.

Requirements

• A full driving license is essential to support individuals with their daily activities.
• The role involves providing person-centered support, overseeing service operations, conducting audits, checks, supervisions, updating support plans, and ensuring individuals achieve their goals.
• You will schedule and allocate work to Support Workers, assist with medication, personal care, and cover shifts as needed.
• Participation in the on-call system is required.

Skills and qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, autism, and mental health issues.
• Experience as a Team Leader is advantageous but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, working towards Level 3.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to clients' needs.
• An enhanced DBS check is required.
