Job summary

Asda Barrhead is seeking a Team Leader to drive the day-to-day running of the department. You’ll lead by example, support colleagues, and ensure customers receive outstanding service on afternoon shifts from 2pm to midnight. The role is full-time, permanent, 36 hours per week, with a 2pm–12am pattern across four days.

You’ll manage stock, help onboard new starters, and step in to resolve issues, collaborating closely with your manager to maintain high standards and motivate the team.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail or customer-facing environment.
• Willingness to take on responsibility and support others.
• Good communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

As aTeam Leader, you’ll play a key role in leading the day-to-day running of your department. You’ll lead by example—supporting your colleagues, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure our customers receive the best possible service. Whether it’s helping to manage stock, supporting new starters, or stepping in to solve a problem, you’ll be a go-to person on the shop floor. You’ll work closely with your manager to deliver high standards and keep your team motivated and focused.
