Team Lead - Treasury Quant Technology

We are assembling a strong Quant Technology team to help the firm with stress liquidity management, analysis, and optimization. As a Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and delivery of high-performance engineering solutions, collaborating with stakeholders across Trading, Treasury, and top-level Management. You will lead a team of engineers and work closely with researchers to develop and maintain in-house models, as well as integrate them into the firm's broader cash management processes. This ambitious project requires exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Provide technical guidance and ensure the team delivers high-quality solutions on time.
  • System Development: Oversee the development and enhancement of the back-end distributed system, ensuring high performance and availability for margin and stress cash calculations and simulations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders across Trading, Treasury, and Management. Work closely with Quant researchers, developers, tech teams, middle office, and business management teams in London, New York, Tel Aviv, and Miami.
  • Microservices Development: Drive the design and implementation of microservices on top of in-house models, ensuring seamless integration into the existing system using the latest technologies.
  • Technical Strategy: Define and enforce best practices for software development, architecture, and cloud technologies. Ensure the team adheres to high standards of code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address technical challenges, ensuring the team delivers robust solutions that meet business needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience developing distributed systems and workflows.
  • Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams, with a track record of delivering complex projects.
  • B.A. in computer science or another quantitative field.
  • Deep understanding of Design Patterns, Algorithms, and Data Structures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, demonstrating thoroughness and strong ownership of work.
Nice-to-have qualifications/skills
  • Knowledge of Treasury cash management and margin methodologies.
  • Experience in the financial industry.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (RDBMS, lake, caches).
  • Experience with high-performance computing and optimization techniques.
