About the opportunity

Teads is seeking a results-driven and highly technical and analytical Technical Operations Team Lead to join our Supply Operations team in New Delhi.

The Supply Technical Operations Team Lead will undertake responsibilities such as local leadership, hands-on troubleshooting, testing, and integrating both programmatic and traditional supply. This role requires close collaboration with business and operational teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. As a member of the New Delhi team, the Supply Technical Operations Team Lead must excel in building strong internal relationships with global operations teams and be capable of managing their own and the team’s tasks autonomously.

What will you do?

As a Supply Technical Operations Team Lead, your mission will be to:

  • Team leadership and management: mentor, drive team performance, personal development, conduct regular meetings/reviews, and participate in the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with other departments: oversee and bridge between support groups and internal and external stakeholders, and act as an escalation manager when needed.
  • Provide technical know-how and best practices to ensure successful technical implementation of programmatic and traditional supply.
  • Facilitate the troubleshooting process by providing technical assistance to both Account Managers and clients.
  • Resolve case tickets from the Supply Operations team’s queue and diligently troubleshoot product issues before escalating to the appropriate group.
What will you bring to the team?
  • Leadership experience: 2 years of excellent leadership and team management skills, managing teams of 5 people or more.
  • Customer Experience: Highly customer-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven experience working with Asia-Pacific countries is a must.
  • Technical background: Proven track record of prior experience in businesses that have developed and operated successful tech products.
  • Ability to manage good relationships with cross-functional teams and become a subject matter expert who leads by example and facilitates escalation.
  • Integrations knowledge: REST API, HTTP protocol, JSON, knowledge of OpenRTB protocols, Postman.
  • Analytical skills: Sharp and fast thinker, proficiency in SQL.
  • Communication skills: Fluent and proficient in English (verbal and written) and ability to work collaboratively within a team to actively drive problems to resolution.
Advantage but not a must
  • Education and Training: Bachelor’s degree in industrial and management engineering or in a similar discipline.
  • Analyzing: Ability to make data-driven business suggestions by connecting relevant data points to clear conclusions - familiarity with Hive, Vertica, MySQL, BigQuery, Redshift.
  • Automation: Familiarity with scripting in Python, working with APIs, and testing. Knowledge of working with n8n is a plus.
  • Troubleshooting: Good understanding of information system concepts to better understand possible problems in the production environment.
  • Monitoring: Familiarity with reading and creating tracking reports, dashboards, and graphs; monitoring changes within the production environment, familiarity with Grafana and Druid is an advantage.
  • Ability to be a Project Owner, working simultaneously on multiple projects and delivering results while maintaining routine tasks.
  • A natural team player who has an inclusive approach but also the ability to make key decisions based on experience.
  • Capable of driving technical calls with partners.
