Job Opportunity: Team Lead Refuse Driver

Location: Limavady

Hours of Work: 37 hrs per week

Main Duties:

1. Responsible for the daily/weekly completion of specific work schedules and driving of specified Council vehicles in connection with refuse collection services within any given area of the Borough.
2. Ensure the safe, legal, and efficient operation of specified vehicles, including adherence to driving guidelines, legislation, and codes of practice.
3. Ensure compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements, working in accordance with governance and health and safety standards.
4. Carry out responsibilities in a timely and effective manner, maintaining confidentiality related to the Council's work.

Minimum Requirements:

• A full, current LGV driving licence (Category C or CE) valid in the UK.
• A full, current Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification.
• At least two years' experience demonstrating:
• Driving a Category C or CE vehicle in a commercial or public sector environment.
• Dealing directly with members of the public in person.
