Job description

This position works closely with the Department Manager(s) or Store Manager to:

1. Receive, price, and stock merchandise to meet the needs of the store's customers, drive sales, and increase profits.
2. Assist Team Members in completing their tasks within the store.
3. Ensure all team members receive appropriate training and ongoing compliance education.

The role also acts as the leader on duty, responding to customer and team member concerns in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities include opening and closing the store and ensuring the safety and security of all bookstore property and team members.
