Our client, a leading US-based B2C platform with over 100,000 daily users, is looking for an experienced Frontend Team Lead to take ownership of their front-end architecture and drive innovation across their platform.

Role Overview

In this role, you will lead a team of talented frontend developers, working with React and TypeScript to create seamless and engaging user experiences for a high-traffic eCommerce platform. Your expertise in building and maintaining large-scale applications will help shape the future of our client’s product, ensuring it remains cutting-edge, reliable, and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Frontend Development: Oversee all frontend development efforts, setting high standards for quality and performance.
• Mentor & Guide: Coach and mentor team members to achieve their best, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Technical Leadership: Define frontend architecture and make key decisions to support scalability and maintainability for a platform with over 100,000 daily users.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product Managers, Backend Developers, and UX/UI Designers to translate business requirements into impactful features.
• Optimize Performance: Ensure the platform is highly performant, optimized for fast loading and responsiveness across all devices.

Key Requirements

• 7+ years of Frontend Development Experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead position.
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript, including knowledge of modern React patterns and architecture.
• B2C eCommerce Expertise: Proven experience working on large-scale consumer-facing platforms, especially those with high traffic and complex user journeys.
• Performance-Driven: Track record of optimizing applications for performance, especially on platforms handling over 100,000 daily active users.
• Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Able to analyze complex problems, prioritize effectively, and find creative solutions.
• Effective Communication: Strong ability to articulate complex technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
