In This Role, You Will

  • Think strategically while developing ideas and concepts for creative projects and campaigns that can be applied into regional markets.
  • Work closely with the other members of the demand generation team to participate in all stages of the creative process, from brainstorming to conceptual development.
  • Continually raise the bar on creativity to produce fresh copy that connects with hospitality professionals and drives action in a variety of formats, including website landing pages, emails, webinar presentations and ensuring that headlines, subject lines and preview text are particularly clever, engaging, and drive action.
  • Weave campaign concepts and taglines seamlessly within promotional copy.
  • Comfortably vary voice, style and other characteristics demanded by the content’s funnel stage or target audience level, persona or segment.
  • Stay updated and apply Cvent and business unit brand voice for consistency in messaging.
  • Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce desired copy.
  • Ensure written materials are clear, concise and persuasive to help bring the program strategy to life.
  • Edit and proofread content on digital ads, website pages, and other media for consistency of brand voice and messaging.
  • Present copy concepts to teams; revise copy based on feedback/direction.
  • Stay on top of trends through business/industry monitoring and training.
  • Manage time and establish priorities while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing demands.
  • Responsible for helping to increase key response KPIs (webinar attendees, engagement rates, open rates, CTR etc) and report on these to leadership
  • Work with product marketing team to ensure value proposition of Cvent Hospitality products is woven into demand generation outbound messaging and ensure new product releases are pushed out into the market through demand generation initiatives

Here's What You Need

  • Proven success producing copy for digital media marketing and/or advertising campaigns
  • Demonstrated experience writing copy for various media types and channels particularly email and digital
  • Ability to work within a matrix organisation working with different stakeholders and teams
  • Extensive copywriting and proofreading experience
  • Understanding of regional nuances and localisation when producing marketing material
  • Creativity, adaptability and the ability to work as part of a team across different regions
  • Proficiency with common office software
