A legal services provider in Wigan is seeking a Team Lawyer with expertise in Adult Social Care law. The role involves handling complex legal matters, drafting documents, and representing clients in various legal situations. Ideal candidates will have significant PQE in a Local Government setting. Pay rate is £35.00 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Need to deal with all aspects of Adult Social Care law.
  • Must have experience in complex and legally challenging matters.
  • Experience in preparing and conducting proceedings at various legal venues.

Team Lawyer – People needed in Wigan

The rate is £35.00ph PAYE

This is a temporary role

The successful candidate will need significant PQE in Adult Social Care ideally in a Local Government Setting. The successful candidate will deal with all aspects of Adult Social Care law which includes Court of Protection Welfare Applications, Ordinary Residence Disputes and Section 21A Challenges within our People Team which also includes Children’s Social Care and Health.

They will handle a legal caseload which may include complex and legally challenging matters, drafting complex and significant legal documents and engage in detailed negotiations with parties as appropriate and will advise, prepare and conduct proceedings acting as an advocate at court, tribunals, inquiries and other statutory and legislative hearings.
