Job summary

Enable is seeking a proactive Team Facilitator to lead a team of Personal Assistants in Moray, primarily based in Elgin with travel across Moray as required. You will support the Service Manager to deliver safe, person-centred care and ensure effective rostering, supervision, and service development.

You will participate in assessments, reviews and risk planning, promoting independence and inclusion, while maintaining compliant records and contributing to staff wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

• Experience with adults and children who have learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism or physical support needs.
• Experience using person-centred planning techniques in service delivery.
• Strong facilitation skills to lead staff teams and maintain quality of care.
• Excellent communication with people supported, staff, families and external professionals.
• Ability to manage budgets and develop robust service designs and risk assessments.
• SVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Good ICT skills with rostering or care management software.
• Flexible work approach including on‑call duties.
• Knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards and regulatory requirements.
• Full driving licence with access to own vehicle.

About The Role

Team Facilitator

39 hours per week

Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle required

Primarily based in Elgin but able to travel across Moray as required

As Team Facilitator in ourMoray team, you will work closely with the Service Manager to lead and support a team of Personal Assistants to deliver safe, effective and person-centred support.

What You'll Do

Leadership and Team Management

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Personal Assistants.
• Conduct regular supervisions, observations and performance reviews.
• Assist with the induction of new staff.
• Support attendance, absence and staff wellbeing.
• Promote positive communication and effective team working.

Service Delivery

• Ensure people we support receive high-quality, person-centred support.
• Support staff to promote choice, independence, dignity and inclusion.
• Participate in assessments, support planning, reviews and risk assessments.
• Carry out quality assurance checks, including spot checks and feedback.
• Respond to safeguarding concerns and escalated issues appropriately.
• Provide direct support and shift cover where required.

Rostering and Administration

• Prepare and maintain staff rotas to ensure safe and effective staffing.
• Keep accurate records using electronic systems.
• Maintain confidential records in line with GDPR requirements.

Partnership Working

• Build strong relationships with families, health professionals and external agencies.
• Attend meetings and reviews with the people we support and key stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with the Service Manager to continuously improve services.

On-Call and Flexibility

• Participate in the on-call rot which can include evenings and weekends.
• Travel to services acrossMoray AREA as required.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be an organised and compassionate leader with a strong commitment to delivering excellent support.

• Experience working with adults and children with learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism and physical support needs.
• Experience in using person centred planning techniques in addition to delivering and leading excellent support practices.
• Strong facilitation skills to encourage staff teams to take ownership and responsibility for the quality of support they deliver.
• The ability to effectively communicate with the people we support, staff teams, families and external care professionals.
• Creating and delivering robust service designs, support strategies and risk assessments whilst managing individual budgets.
• SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Good ICT skills with experience using rostering or care management software.
• Ability to work flexibly, including participation in an on-call rota.
• Knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards and regulatory requirements.
• Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle for business use.
