Job description

£28,961 per annum + additional on call payment.

Enable are recruiting for a Team Facilitator

Location: East Renfrewshire.
Salary: £28,961 per annum + additional on call payment.
Contract: 39 hours per week – 20 hours providing direct support and 19 hours management time.

Full Driving License required.

We have an exciting opportunity within East Renfrewshire for a driven and motivated individual with experience managing teams within the social care sector. You must have the passion and drive to lead a team of frontline staff to support a young man to achieve his personal outcomes and live life to the full.

This is a unique opportunity to invest your skills and time strengthening and developing the current team of PA’s. The role will involve a practice leadership approach where you will mentor and support the team as well as working alongside them providing direct support.

About You

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:

  1. Experience working with adults and children with learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism and physical support needs.
  2. Experience in using person centred planning techniques in addition to delivering and leading excellent support practices.
  3. Strong facilitation skills to encourage staff teams to take ownership and responsibility for the quality of support they deliver.
  4. The ability to effectively communicate with the people we support, staff teams, families and external care professionals.
  5. Creating and delivering robust service designs, support strategies and risk assessments whilst managing individual budgets.
  6. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload whilst working under pressure.
  7. SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  8. Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle for business use.
