Position: T4M Consultant

The T4M Consultant must be experienced in booking Individual Air/Rail + Group Air/Rail travel, responsible for group movements ranging from 10 to 2000+ people.

This will involve research and negotiation with airlines & rail suppliers for group seat allocation, managing supplier contracts, and keeping to deadlines. All groups will require experience with published IATA & consolidator fares bookable via the GDS (Amadeus).

All inquiries will be managed through a defined process from initial qualification to post-project financial reconciliation, respecting customer and T4M standards, procedures, and policies.

This role focuses on our “Retention Strategy,” contributing to client retention through professional relationships, service excellence, and account growth.

The role also contributes to “Efficiency” and “Business Development Strategy,” ensuring robust processes and effective activity and time management.

Responsibilities and Skills required:

  • Management of Corporate Travel, Workshops & Seminars for groups from 10 to thousands, including all aspects of T4M & Group Travel
  • Deliver outstanding service based on client briefs, including research, policies, and supplier management
  • Planning, coordination, and execution of corporate travel and events
  • Effective communication amongst team members to share best practices
  • Achieve financial targets while delivering high-quality service and cost savings
  • Continuous self-development and training
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Communication with booking owners
  • Accurate and timely data management
  • Sound product knowledge and cross-selling ability
  • Additional duties as requested, including standby availability on some weekends
  • Knowledge of the airline industry
  • Previous group or business travel experience preferred
  • Group and published airline ticketing experience is an advantage
  • Proficiency with GDS: Amadeus essential
  • MS Office skills

The T4M role includes the following tasks:

  • Understanding and meeting Client Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Qualifying calls/emails to determine travel requirements
  • Identifying transportation options according to client needs
  • Following R-Max preferred suppliers’ program
  • Communicating with suppliers
  • Managing supplier deadlines
  • Reminding clients of deadlines
  • Securing client approval on budgets and terms
  • Utilizing web tools for delegate registration and sending flight offers/confirmations, managing changes
