A university in the UK is seeking a Team Clean Supervisor to lead and manage operational staff in providing high-quality cleaning services. The role involves ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation and motivating the team. Candidates should have previous team management experience and excellent communication skills. The position offers flexible working hours over the weekend and some weekdays.

Soft FM Services are responsible for cleaning and portering services to the university’s academic, administrative, and residential estate. Soft FM facilitates all university key events, such as graduation and open days, and ensures areas are prepared for other events such as receptions and summer conferences.
Soft FM Services is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Team Clean Supervisor to join our busy team.
As part of your position as Team Clean Supervisor, you will lead, manage, and motivate Soft FM operational staff to provide a quality customer-focused service to the academic and residential estate, ensuring that Soft FM Services are delivered and maintained to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for the accurate completion of departmental statutory paperwork.
15 hours per week. Current working pattern: Saturday and Sunday, 5.30am to 1:45pm, with potential for an additional 6 hours worked between Monday and Friday; days and times are negotiable.
To be successful, you must have experience managing teams of semi-skilled staff in a customer-focused environment, and knowledge of Health and Safety legislation relating to cleaning materials and practices. Previous cleaning experience is desirable.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage staff performance effectively.
