An exciting opportunity to work alongside a design leader in a vibrant agency setting. In this early career role, you will hone your organizational and administrative skills while supporting a talented team. Your responsibilities will include managing the director's schedule, ensuring effective communication within the team, and maintaining project administration. This position offers a unique chance to learn about the design process and work with international clients, particularly those from diverse cultural backgrounds. If you have a passion for design and a knack for organization, this role is perfect for you.
The speed read:
A chance to work with and learn from a design leader in a small team within a larger design studio.
The facts:
This design leader has busy days: talking at design events, travelling, presenting and spending lots of time with global clients. You get to make sure she has exactly what she needs and is where she needs to be to do it. Day to day you get to sharpen your diary, PA and admin skills until you seem like you read minds.
You like being a reliable gatekeeper and conduit of knowledge within the team. The meaningful part in your day to day is making sure that the director and her designers are all in touch, up to date and on track to deliver beautiful work. You will not be project managing design projects but you will be making sure all project admin is tidy and up to date. Your director likes detail and being close to her team and you enjoy supporting her in that.
Even though this is an early career role, you have already developed an ability to read a room, listen in a team, see what is necessary and make it happen. Your next role may be as an EA, project or account manager and this gives you a great chance to sharpen some skills and get a really good agency name on your CV.
The design work is recognised internationally and the team have international clients, including the Middle East. We would love applications from people who have worked with Middle Eastern or other international working cultures. An interest in different cultures is great, even if it hasn’t made it into your working life just yet.
You may have studied graphic design and love the creative arts, but have realised you love organising people, rather than producing the creative itself. A love of graphic design and creativity has definitely stayed with you.
