We are seeking to recruit a professional and experienced Team Administrator with a can do attitude and a friendly and cheerful disposition to join our Business Support Team. This role is split between 2 bases: Wingfield Centre, Redhill and Horizon House, Epsom.

Responsibilities
  • The post holder will have responsibility for front line reception duties and the provision of a confidential, professional, efficient and responsive administrative support service.
  • You should have excellent customer service skills and demonstrate a high degree of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality as the first point of contact for service users, carers, health professionals and third- party organisations.
  • You will be proficient in audio and copy typing with advanced keyboard skills.
  • You will have experience of working in a confidential public facing role.
  • You will have very good communication, teamworking and organisational skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a professional and calm approach.

  • Provision of a professional reception service, demonstrating a high degree of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality as the first point of contact for service users, carers, health professionals and third-party organizations.
  • Operate an efficient telephone message system, exercising judgement in the exchange and prioritization of information.
  • Co-ordination of main clinics and satellite clinics.
  • Responsible for the timeliness, accuracy and integrity of data recorded on paper and electronic systems.
  • Book and outcome clinic appointments on the Electronic Patient Record System (EPR).
  • Typing clinical and administrative documents in agreed formats and within specified timescales.
  • Administer the prescription and travel claim systems in line with Trust and Local Policy and Procedure.
