A leading healthcare organization in Chichester is seeking an Administrative Support worker for the Older Persons Mental Health Liaison team. The ideal candidate will have strong planning skills and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities include processing referrals, managing appointments, and providing comprehensive administrative services. This role offers training opportunities and NHS discounts.
We are looking for someone to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team Older Persons Mental Health Liaison, someone who is willing to provide administrative support who's strengths include planning and organisational skills; excellent time management; and someone who is adaptive and able to respond to the challenges of change and development of an exciting service.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team you will need to be able to communicate well and work with professionals from a variety of professional backgrounds and a have a compassionate, holistic and person-centred approach.
The duties include carrying out administrative tasks such as processing new referrals, typing letters and reports, arranging appointments, email management, taking notes a weekly team meetings and ad hoc Professionals Meetings, maintaining databases, data entry, ordering stationery, goods and services, photocopying, scanning and other admin tasks as required. This will include handling telephone enquiries from patients and their families, carers and professionals in a pleasant and helpful manner ensuring to take accurate messages and communicating information clearly. Some of the telephone calls we take can be distressing but de-escalation support will be offered in such circumstances.
