Overview

The OPCMHT and MATS administration support officer will provide a comprehensive administration service to the OPCMHT and MATS staff and ensure an effective communication network with health and social care professionals, service users and their carers.

In addition, the post holder will provide effective data quality support for the team to ensure the input, collation and extraction of information that may be necessary to evidence achievement of performance indicators / targets.

To respect the individuality, values, culture and religious diversity of service users and colleagues and contribute to the provision of a service sensitive to these needs.

Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for all calls from service users, carers, external agencies or GP surgeries so excellent communication skills and manner are essential.
  • Process referrals, update the electronic patient record system with demographic details and ensure all data quality requirements are adhered to with accuracy.
  • Book service user appointments, diary management, minute taking, and use initiative.
  • Cover reception areas and duties for clinics as required.
