Masterclass Education are working with a local, wonderful mainstream primary School who are looking for a Team Teach trained Teaching Support Assistant to work with a year 1 child who has challenging behaviour. The school is a fantastic place to work with the students making each day unique!

Responsibilities
  • To support the children's development across all areas of their development
  • Support and encourage positive behaviour management
  • Work with an individual (1-1) to support the class teacher in specific lessons
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment enabling pupils to feel relaxed and happy
  • To establish positive relationships with the children and staff within the school
  • To be committed to inclusive practice and making sure every child has the chance to be the best they can be
  • To be able to provide personal care if needed
Qualifications / Training
  • Team Teach trained (or equivalent)
  • CPD recognised online training covering Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more
