Bolton St Catherine's Academy is seeking a passionate Teaching and Learning Assistant – Level 2 + SEN to support pupils aged 11-16 in a modern, inclusive secondary setting. You will work within a skilled team, assist with learning tasks, manage behaviour, and help students access learning through individualized support, while benefiting from extensive CPD and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience of working with children aged 11-16 in an education setting.
• Demonstrates personal resilience and professional conduct.
• Has the ability and willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Work with and supervise individuals and groups of students under the direction of teaching and/or senior staff, inclusive of learning needs and target setting.
• Assist in managing students' sometimes challenging behaviour using a range of strategies.
