Overview

Keighley College are seeking a committed and dynamic Health & Science Facilitator to join our large Study Programme department. The role is pivotal in supporting learners across a range of programmes (from Level 1 to Level 3) to develop the knowledge, skills, and professional behaviours needed for success in the health and social care sector.

What You Will Do
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities, workshops, and tutorials.
  • Support students in practical skills development and workplace readiness.
  • Provide one-to-one and group guidance, helping learners achieve their academic and career goals.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, employers, and external partners to ensure high-quality, industry-relevant learning experiences.
  • Facilitate learning sessions, tutorials, and enrichment activities that complement formal teaching.
  • Guide and mentor students on placement and in simulated care environments.
  • Monitor learner progress, providing feedback and individual support plans where needed.
  • Promote professional standards, safeguarding, and well-being at all times.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring alignment with current industry practices and regulatory requirements.
About You
  • Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care (Level 1 and above).
  • Practical experience in health, social care, or related services.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills, with a learner-centred approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team in a busy FE environment.
