The University of Lancashire is seeking GDC-registered dental nurses to join the onsite clinic-based team at the School of Dentistry. The role covers nursing across teaching activities, patient care, epidemiology studies, and oral health promotion, with full chairside support for procedures.

You'll work 36.25 hours per week, with shifts 08:30–18:15, Monday to Friday, providing instrument sterilization, cross-infection control, and prep for multiple dental disciplines while meeting CPD

Qualifications

• GDC registered dental nurse is essential.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) required.
• Must hold National Certificate or NVQ level 3 in Dental Nursing and be registered with the GDC.

Responsabilités

• Provide full chairside support and pre/postoperative advice.
• Assist clinicians in teaching programs across multiple disciplines.
• Prepare clinical areas, sterilise instruments and maintain cross-infection control.
• Support patient care and participation in epidemiology studies and oral health promotion.
• Ensure compliance with policies and update training.
