Are you looking for a role in education? Are you already in a teaching assistant role and seeking a change? We are recruiting upcoming or experienced teaching assistants to join our partnership schools in Caerphilly!

We are looking for teaching assistants to start as soon as possible.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities Include:

1. Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons
2. Preparing and utilising resources around the classroom for each lesson
3. Using your own initiative
4. Developing literacy, numeracy, and communication skills in children
5. Providing 1-to-1 support

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

1. Can remain calm, confident, and engaging
2. Have an interest in a multitude of subjects
3. Can build a good rapport with pupils
4. Have empathetic and nurturing characteristics

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience working with children
• An Enhanced DBS Certificate (we can process one for you)
• EWC registration
