Pay: £90 per day (higher rates available based on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: September 2025 (with opportunities for work available before then)
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants on behalf of a primary school in BS13, Bristol, to support children across all year groups from Reception to Year 6. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with a start date in September 2025, but there are opportunities for work available before then.
The role may involve providing 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), so experience in supporting SEN pupils is advantageous, though not essential. If you have experience working with children and are passionate about helping children succeed, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Support children’s learning and development across different year groups (Reception to Year 6)
Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities
Support the classroom teacher in the delivery of lessons and classroom management
Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
Experience working with children is essential (previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory)
A proactive, patient, and caring attitude
Ability to work well as part of a team
Flexibility to support pupils across various year groups, from Reception through to Year 6
Experience with or a willingness to support children with SEN is a plus, but not required
