About Us

Horizons Specialist Academy Trust comprises eight academies and one sixth form across the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire, serving over 1000 students with a broad range of learning difficulties. Abbey Hill Academy & Abbey Hill Academy 6th Form specializes in meeting the needs of students aged 11 to 19 with various learning disabilities, physical needs, or autism.

Role Description

We seek two experienced, outstanding, creative, and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants with flexibility to support students with diverse special educational needs in ICT and Food Technology. Additionally, we are hiring an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant. Please specify your preferred post on your application. The successful candidates will assist in classroom activities addressing both physical and educational needs. Although staff may work across the Trust, this position is based at Abbey Hill Academy 6th Form.
