Job description

CER is working with a partnership school based in Hull to recruit Teaching Assistants and HLTAs for the summer and autumn terms of 2025.

The school is a SEMH setting, supporting children who have not engaged in mainstream education and require additional help and expertise to achieve their potential.

Experience in SEND / SEMH is preferred, but experience in school or residential settings is also advantageous. Candidates should have a Teaching Assistant qualification or similar, or at least 1 year of experience working with children.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in school or care settings
  • Ability to commit to long-term work
  • Ability to drive or reside in the local area
  • Availability to start immediately or within a week
  • Willingness to work on a temporary basis
