Qualifications

  • Mindestens 20 Tage Erfahrung in den letzten 2 Jahren als Teaching Assistant oder Freiwilliger.
  • Gute Kenntnisse des englischen Nationalcurriculums.

Hays Education is one of the market-leading agencies in Barnsley and is now looking for Teaching Assistants in the area to assist with the rising demand for supply staff. Hays has built long-lasting relationships with local primary schools in Barnsley and is committed to placing the right candidate in the right schools.

Your New Role

The roles vary depending on each school's needs and can be full-time or part-time. Working as a supply Teaching Assistant is suitable for those passionate about working in schools and who are flexible and adaptable due to the diversity of the schools we work with. We are seeking TAs interested in working with children, whether within a full classroom, supporting small groups to improve skills like reading, or providing 1:1 care for children with SEN.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Experience working with primary-aged children for at least 20 days in the last 2 years, either as a Teaching Assistant or volunteer (e.g., youth organizations, sports coaching).
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Ideally, hold a relevant qualification, but this is not essential.
  • Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
