Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking flexible Teaching Assistant opportunities in Clacton-on-Sea and surrounding areas. You will support pupils across different year groups, helping them access learning and thrive in inclusive settings.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of school-based experience, strong safeguarding commitment, and a patient, empathetic approach. Training and professional development are encouraged as part of our long-standing recruitment partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Must have 2 years referencable experience supporting pupils in a school setting.
  • Understanding of strategies for supporting children with varying learning needs.
  • Ability to build positive and nurturing relationships with pupils.
  • Patience, empathy and adaptability.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
