Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd is seeking a Teaching Assistant for day-to-day supply across Edgware and surrounding areas. You will support pupils in classrooms and small groups, assisting teachers with lessons and helping with behaviour management.

This role offers flexible day-to-day opportunities, with potential for longer-term or permanent positions, and requires safeguarding commitments including Enhanced DBS checks where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable.
• Strong understanding of classroom support and behaviour management.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or have one registered on the Update Service.
