Job summary

Supply Hive Wales is assisting a welcoming primary school in Cardiff to recruit a Year 1 Teaching Assistant. You will support the class teacher day-to-day, work with small groups and individuals to support learning, and help children develop confidence and social skills in a nurturing classroom.

The ideal candidate is warm, patient and passionate about working with children, with experience in a primary setting preferred.

• Experience working with children in a primary setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

Pay: £93–£100 per day

Contract: Full-time, term-time only

Hours: Monday–Friday

We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Cardiff who are looking for a fantastic Teaching Assistant to join their Year 1 classroom.

This is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, building positive relationships with children and being part of a supportive school team.

The Role

As a Year 1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
