Here at Long-Term Teachers, we have a range of flexible working opportunities available for you around Bristol and South Gloucestershire. .

The Primary Schools we work with offer the opportunity for professional development and a supportive team who can help you in your journey as a Teaching Assistant.

The Role

You will have the opportunity to step into various classroom settings; EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2. Whether you're an experienced teaching assistant or someone looking for experience working with children, we have the opportunity for you.

We have a range of general TA, Intervention TA, and SEN Teaching Assistant roles available.

You will be expected to:

  • Be patient, creative and energetic.
  • Be willing to learn and develop professionally.
  • Be flexible and use your own initiative when supporting children.
  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and other EYFS staff.
  • Communicate clearly the development and progression of the child’s ability.

Working with Long-term Teachers:

We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
