We are seeking a Teaching Assistant responsible for the Senior School Library and Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme administration.
Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for Stewart’s Melville College on a temporary, part-time basis (27.5 hours/week) from August 2025 to June 2026. The pro-rata salary ranges from £16,199 to £16,777, depending on qualifications and experience.
The role involves supporting library and DofE staff through administrative, supervisory, and promotional tasks to ensure smooth operations.
The ideal candidate will have administrative experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication and teamwork skills, the ability to work with teenagers, manage multiple tasks independently, and a professional, flexible approach. Experience in a school or library setting, a love for books, and a commitment to professional development are desirable.
