Teaching Assistant with Midday Assistant duties required with effect from 01 September 2025.
Teaching Assistant: 25 hours per week (5 days), term time only, temporary, fixed term contract.
Midday Assistant: 5.83 hours per week, term time only, temporary, fixed term contract.
The Headteacher, Governors and children of our inclusive school would like to appoint a friendly and self-motivated Teaching Assistant to start in September 2025.
You will:
To work under the guidance of teaching / senior staff to implement agreed work programmes
To assist the teacher in the planning cycle and the management & preparation of resources
To provide support for teaching staff across the school in an appropriate learning environment
Enjoy working with children with complex needs.
Have the skills, knowledge and experience or be willing to undertake training to support children with physical needs, autism and learning difficulties.
Work well with other staff and agencies.
Be well motivated, have a positive attitude and be emotionally resilient.
Have the ability to work in a 1:1 situation and to teach small groups or be willing to undertake training
Supporting children during lunchtime
Assisting with cleaning in the dining Hall
Supervising children on the playground
