What We're Looking For:

We are searching for dedicated Teaching Assistants who can support EAL learners, some of whom possess little English or communication ability. You will primarily work in early years or KS1 but may assist other year groups if needed. You will work closely with children individually or in groups to support their learning and help improve their English skills. Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teachers is also part of the role.

While previous EAL experience is highly desirable, it is not essential. The key qualifications include:

  • Fluency in Arabic, Farsi, or Urdu in addition to English
  • Enhanced DBS Check (can be completed through us if not already in place)
  • EWC Registration
