William Reynolds Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for the Autumn Term 2025. This permanent position involves supporting pupils and managing classroom activities under supervision. Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic and motivated, striving to help students reach their potential.

The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant tosupport groups of pupils and/or individuals with their learning.
The successful applicants will have very high expectations in terms ofsupporting pupils in order for them to reach their true potential.
You will work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. Scale 3 Staff may also supervise whole classes occasionally during the short-term absence of teachers. The primary focus will be to maintain good order and to keep pupils on task.Cover Supervisors will need to respond to questions and generally assist pupils to undertake set activities.
The hours will be 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday including half hour lunchtime duty term time only.
