Teaching Assistant
Long-term contract with potential to become permanent
£90 - £120 per day – dependant on experience
’’Outstanding’’, Two-form entry Primary School in Willenhall.
General classroom Teaching Assistant – may be required to work in small groups.

The Role
As a general classroom teaching assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both pupils and the class teacher to ensure smooth, effective learning throughout the school day. As a teaching assistant you will support learning activities by working with individuals or small groups to assist with lesson content. You will prepare classroom resources, such as worksheets, displays, and learning materials. Teaching assistants listen to pupils read, helping with phonics, and encouraging language development. You will manage behaviour, support assessments and collaborate with the class teachers.

The Candidate
As a teaching assistant, you will have strong understanding of child development and their different learning styles. You will be strong in a team and have excellent communication skills, must have patience and adaptability. You will assist the class teacher with preparing engaging resources and contribute to a positive classroom atmosphere. You will have a willingness to learn and be involved in all aspects of school life.
