Position: Teaching Assistant
Location:Willenhall and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time (flexible)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging classroom activities
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, including those with SEN
Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
Prepare and organise learning resources and classroom materials
Support students in their social and emotional development
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and parents when needed
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is highly desirable
Confidence in leading small groups and supporting individual learners
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain a positive classroom environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping pupils thrive
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
