  • Position: Teaching Assistant

  • Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time (flexible)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging classroom activities

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, including those with SEN

  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment

  • Prepare and organise learning resources and classroom materials

  • Support students in their social and emotional development

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and parents when needed

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)

  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is highly desirable

  • Confidence in leading small groups and supporting individual learners

  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain a positive classroom environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping pupils thrive

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
