Vision for Education is looking to appoint a full time Teaching Assistant to join this successful and welcoming primary school in the West Cambridgeshire area.

About the Role

1:1 Teaching Assistant


This is a full time Teaching Assistant role, Monday to Friday 8:30am until 15:30pm, working 1:1 with a child with special educational needs.

This child requires 1-1 support to enable them to focus and complete set activities. This child's behaviour can be challenging and we are looking for someone with experience of working with children with similar challenges who will take the time neccesary to build a supportive relationship with this child.


This role will begin ASAP and is likely to continue on.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

Requirements

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

  • Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in supporting teaching & learning in schools or have experience of working with children with SEND
  • be able to provide 2 recent references to support your work with children
  • be able to provide a full, clear DBS clearance
  • ideally have access to a car
