Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors to support pupils across primary, secondary and SEN settings in Cardiff. Roles include assisting with class activities, 1:1 and small-group support, and helping teachers deliver lessons.

Opportunities for progression to Cover Supervisor exist, with training and dedicated consultant support throughout placements. No prior teaching experience is required; the right attitude and reliability are valued to build positive

• Positive and professional attitude key.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with classwork, activities and learning.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Support pupils with SEN and additional learning needs.
• Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
