Job summary

Merstham Primary School, part of GLF Schools, is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming team on a permanent, term-time basis (32.5 hours per week). You will support children to achieve their full potential within an inclusive and ambitious school community.

You will work alongside our staff to create engaging learning experiences, follow teacher guidance, maintain records, and uphold safeguarding.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
• Basic IT skills to support learning and administrative tasks.
• Strong communication to engage students and clarify instructions.
• Ability to plan, prioritise tasks and follow teacher guidance.
• Professional and confidential approach to working with children.
• Strong time management and organisation to maintain records and classroom setup.
• Trustworthy, approachable and passionate about making a positive impact.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children per GLF Schools policies.
