Salary: £90 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor (MSA) to work in a friendly and supportive school in Hastings. This full-time position is perfect for someone who thrives in a dual role—offering both academic support during lessons and ensuring a safe, happy lunchtime experience for pupils.

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support for pupils, including one-to-one and small group assistance.
• Help the class teacher with lesson preparation, behaviour management, and learning activities.
• Supervise pupils during lunch and break times, promoting safe play and positive interactions.
• Assist with the social and emotional development of pupils throughout the day.
• Encourage a respectful and inclusive environment across both classroom and playground settings.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable.
• A calm, caring, and proactive approach to working with children.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to assist with personal care if required.
• Anenhanced DBScertificate on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
