Salary: £90 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Eastbourne, East Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting children in their early educational journey.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teachers within the classroom, working with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis to aid their learning and development. You will assist in creating a positive and engaging learning environment, support lesson delivery, and help students to overcome barriers to learning. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic, adaptable, and dedicated to nurturing children’s educational progress and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils across key stages.
• Assist the class teacher in preparing learning materials and managing classroom activities.
• Support pupils with special educational needs or those who need additional guidance.
• Promote an inclusive and encouraging learning environment.
• Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.

Job Requirements:

• Experience working in a school or with children in a similar capacity is desirable.
• A strong understanding of child development and learning support.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A calm, positive, and proactive approach to supporting students.
• Commitment to nurturing and inspiring every child’s learning journey
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
