Job description

Are you a qualified teaching assistant looking for a long-term role within Key Stage 2?


A school in Sutton Coldfield is looking for a teaching assistant to work with 3 children in key stage 2. 2 of the children that you will be working with are in Year 6 and require support with the curriculum in the lead up to their SATs assessments. The 3rd child is in Year 5 and has ASD as well as SEMH and behavioural difficulties.


This role requires an individual with relevant knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, and strong behaviour management techniques.


Requirements for our Teaching Assistant Roles:
  1. Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification (or an equivalent for ratio purposes)
  2. Experience with children who have additional needs
  3. Experience within a Primary School (preferably 6+ months)
  4. Updated and clean DBS on the update service.
  5. The ability to inspire children.
  6. To work as part of a team
