Lead Academy Trust in Lincoln is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to support pupils to overcome barriers to learning and to work closely with the class teacher, SENDCO and parents to help pupils meet targets. The post includes involvement in reviews and Educational Health Care Plan targets.

The role requires safeguarding compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, and opportunities for professional development within our academy.

Qualifications

• DBS disclosure will be required.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsabilités

• Support pupils to overcome challenges and barriers to learning.
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENDCO and parents.
• Attend review meetings and contribute to targets in the EHC Plan.
• Support pupils inside and outside the classroom to facilitate positive social interactions.
