Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above).
  • No previous experience required; full training provided.

  • Interest in SEMH, ASC and additional needs.
  • Committed to safeguarding and welfare of pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with SEMH and additional needs to engage in learning and school life.
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support tailored to individual needs.
  • Work alongside teachers to deliver creative, engaging and personalised learning activities.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing and structured environment where every pupil can thrive.
  • Encourage confidence, resilience, independence and positive behaviour.
  • Support pupils' emotional wellbeing using therapeutic and nurturing approaches.
  • Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom, outdoor and enrichment activities.
  • Work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team focused on achieving the very best outcomes for every pupil.
