Children attending a pupil referral unit often present with social, emotional & mental health difficulties in students aged between Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 4. The role involves providing stability, education, and empowerment, taking into account each learner's individualised, differentiated learning styles to ensure social, emotional, and educational integration.
The initial assignment will assess how well you fit into the setting, so you need to be fully committed and enthusiastic about making a difference in children's lives.
