Streetly Academy is seeking a passionate individual to assist a student with SEMH needs, ensuring engaging and supportive learning experiences. We are looking for;
●A qualified and enthusiastic team player to work under the direction of the SENDCo to access learning and to assist the class teacher in the management of a specific student with primarily SEMH needs, alongside cognitive barriers.
●An individual who is committed to delivering active and engaging learning, which enthuses young people and motivates them to want to succeed
●An individual who can set targets that stretch and challenge students of all backgrounds, abilities and dispositions
●Empathy and integrity with a genuine passion for supporting young people with adversities.
●An individual with confident communication skills to work with and alongside other paraprofessionals, parents and carers.
●An individual with a continued commitment to their own professional development.
●An individual with competent ICT skills.
●Basic first aid skills (desirable)
