Job summary

Great Oldbury Primary Academy invites applications for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our thriving school community. The roles are 30 hours per week during 39 working weeks (term time plus INSET), with one 12 months fixed term post and one permanent post.

We are looking for committed individuals to support pupils in their learning journey, work alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons, and provide 1:1 and small group support.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or Level 2 qualifications required.
• Ability to support pupils in learning journeys.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Patient, caring and adaptable with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in their learning journey
• Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons
• Provide 1:1 and small group support
• Help build pupils’ confidence, independence and resilience
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Work well as part of a team with colleagues
